Ryton Library and community space was developed by Gateshead Council with the enthusiastic help of the local community and councillors. It is located at the rear of Ryton Methodist Church on Grange Road
Opening times:
Monday: 12.30pm to 5.30pm
Thursday: 9am to 1.30pm
Saturday: 9am to 1pm
At other times the facility is available to be booked for use by community groups for all manner of activities
The Library Service offers:
- Best selling books
- PCs with access to the Internet, email and Microsoft Office for a small annual fee
- Local History information
- Regular activities and events
