A Poem For Spring

What does Spring mean to me?

Cherry blossom trees swaying in the breeze

Daffodils showing their golden crowns

A kaleidoscope of colours all around

Magical walks through Bluebell-laden woods

Blue skies, golden rays making me feel good

An end to the cold dark Wintery mornings

New lambs, a sign the new season is dawning

My garden changing from brown to green

Concealing new plant life yet to be seen

Longer days with lighter nights

Clocks coming forward to make it all right

Washing flapping in the wind as it dries

The sun shining down and the clouds rushing by

Birds singing more sweetly in the trees

Thats what Spring means to me!
