Free Books for Babies!

Bookstart is a national scheme that gives babies and toddlers FREE packs of books. It’s for every baby in Gateshead.

Your baby should receive

A Bookstart canvas bag with two books and information at the 9 month health check

A Bookstart Plus wallet with two more books and information, plus crayons and paper at the 2 year health check

A Bookstart Treasure Chest with two more books and information, plus crayons and colouring book, at 3 years in the nursery
