Sunny Side Up is a 60-minute audio magazine, posted out every Monday and received by listeners on Tuesdays. Sunny, as it's known, offers a range of entertaining and informative features, and always begins with some fiction, usually a classic serial such as Great Expectations, Around the World in Eighty Days, or H G Wells' The Time Machine.

Every Sunny includes a music or film quiz, ranging in subject from popular crooners or the hits of a particular era, to Hollywood classics or more recent films such as Wallace and Gromit.

Another very popular item is our review, which each week discusses a new talking book or music CD. In this extract, Laura Bailey offers listeners some information on a collection of Glen Miller's earlier recordings. The CD is called 'Glenn Miller Vol 2: Early Original Recordings 1937-1938', from the Naxos Jazz Legends series.

This programme is available in Mp3 format. Because it plays in its own stand alone player you can browse and listen at the same time. Just click the MP3 button to start.
play mp3 Playback will be through Windows Media Player or any other Mp3 player that you have set as default.

The review always finishes with a competition question for listeners to try and answer. All the correct answers sent in are put into the AIRS tea cosy, and the person whose name is picked out wins our copy of the CD or tape!
