Sight North East exhibition 10th September 2008
As usual, AIRS will have a stand at the Sight North East exhibition, organised by Sight Service, at the Swallow Hotel Gateshead. Do come along and say hello!

Visually Impaired Readers' Group at Central Library
If you live in the east of the borough and listen to talking books, read Braille or large print, why not come along to our Central Library readers' group? We meet on the second Thursday of the month from 2.00-3.30 and we can arrange transport if you need it.

Every month you will receive a book, which we discuss at the next meeting. If you are interested in joining, please ring Ann Ruddick on 0191 433 8453 or email airs@gateshead.gov.uk.

AIRS Podcasts
We hope to be broadcasting content over the Internet very shortly, including extracts from our Focus talking newspaper and audio magazine services, and a digest of Council News magazine. Watch this space!

AIRS Panel
